How Inflammation Begins

As I mentioned yesterday, chiropractic treatment really works to relieve inflammation.

What I’ve always been interested in is what caused the inflammation.

Let’s get inside the cells and find out what is going on.

Chemicals, pollutants, molds, and toxic metals will interfere with how the cells of the body work. These foreign items cause the cell to “dysfunction”. You will often see these in articles labeled as cell disruptors. They block the genetic code of how a cell works. When enough cells become compromised, a particular organ or body system stops working.

Here are some examples:

Formaldehyde is used to make foam. Would you have ever thought of seeing a skin reaction where foam had not rubbed on that area of the skin? It’s the immune system trying to protect internal organs.

Lead inside the cells of the body, causing a severe ongoing sinus issue. Or the U.S. military seeing severe energy fatigue in soldiers practicing enclosed live-fire drills because they breathed in lead vapor. To their credit, they removed all lead from the bullets. I learned that at a seminar in Virginia.

The toxic metal disrupted how a cell works. In this situation, the lead was shutting down energy production and preventing cells from repair leading to sinus issues.

Plastics. Someone had the most severe case of sinus congestion, and testing showed some reactive foods and plastics. Plastics causing sinus problems? Yes. Cookies come off the factory conveyor belt hot enough to transfer the plastic. There was a direct correlation with eating foods with a plastic heat transfer.

Plastics causing asthma. Or mercury or lead causing cystic acne.

Flame retardant exposure causing irregular heartbeat. The lab picked up the chemicals and listed the symptoms.

Delayed onset foods causing everything from bronchial asthma to reflux with constipation and or diarrhea. Food reactions making achy joints worse. Food reactions aggravating rheumatoid arthritis.

Fungicide sprays on foods with a delayed reaction can cause coughing several hours later.

Cleaning chemicals causing asthma symptoms and rashes.

Molds. Molds are filtered through the kidneys and if you overwhelm them with too much work they cannot repair. The inner filters, called glomeruli will swell and press up against the kidney muscle wall – it really hurts.

None of these symptoms are immediate. These are all several hours later, up to 3-4 days.

You really have to be a detective to figure it out.

This is how I got involved in chiropractic and laboratory testing. Chiropractic reduced inflammation, but I wanted to know why. Now you know what I’ve learned. Inflammation comes from the inability to repair because of  delayed-onset reactions to food, chemicals, preservatives, molds, and toxic metals.

Tomorrow we’ll cover solutions.
